Growing my facebook followers.

One way to increase facebook followers is to share the original contents. when people share the contents, your pagename travels with it. Putting relevant contents that people will enjoy and share with others will help you increase the followers.

Another way is to put thoughtful comments on other pages or news. It is the best way to start conversations with those you don't know yet. interest in same topic will help you gain more followers. 'Liking' others comments might be another way to reach out to people and make new friends.

Other dirty method is to buy followers. It tells that 100 followers /likes is $5. For 20,000 followers, you have to pay $320. Buying followers are quiet expensive. I don't know if anyone will do this but this is another way to increase facebook followers.

I only have six friends on facebook because I recently made new facebook for this class.

I will try this method and see if I could increase my followers.

This is a page showing the people whom I may know. I can recognize some people on facebook. This is an easy method to find friends on facebook.

I commented on one of the videos posted. And I shared with others in my facebook.

Growing my twitter followers

The most basic way to increase followers is the more you post. The more you post with hashtag, the more targeted followers you will get. Hashtag helps to classify the targeted people. Thus, if you want to increase followers, you can categorize the tweets and start making conversation with people whom might follow you in future.

Another way increase follower is to comment on relevant posts/news and retweet relevant news. Putting relevant comments is best way to start conversations with other people about specific interest. Also, retweet will help finding people who are interested in those topics and also to make friends with those people.

Another fun fact is to tweet during peak hours will help increase the followers. post tweets , sending messages give best chance to be seen by others and to increase followers. One of internet marketing firm found out that 9a.m, noon, 3p.m and 6 p.m see heavy use. It might be better to post on those times.

In my twitter, I only have seven friends because I just started using twitters. I will test these methods and find out if it works.

In this screenshot, I retweeted one of the tweets in buzzfeed. It is about media and entertainment thus many will enjoy it.

I followed some friends that twitter suggests for me. This is another easy method to follow and be followed by others.

Wearable Computing

Immersion 2015 is the Immersive Education Conference. This event occurs every tear at different countries. In 2015, Paris, France, was selected as the official site of Immersion 2015. If you click on Immesion 2015, you will be able to get more information about it. This conference is to talk about the impacts of new technologies and anticipation of what to come.

In this post, I will talk about Wearable Computing.

In these days, health and fitness wearables are growing continuously. People wear miniature device that works like computer or cell phone. Wearable computing helps to augment memories, have immediate access to important data and able to take notes immediately.

This is a wearable computing worn like glasses. In recent, google glass came out but not many people have used it. When people wear glass, they can see the 3D image of computers in screen so it is a virtual screen in front of you whenever you wear glasses.

This is another wearable device. There are many different devices that can be worn. Wearable device will improve convenience, health, well-beings, in every way. Wearable device will be less complicated for disabled people. And people can use computer everywhere they go.

This is a video of future of wearable computing. It talks about interaction of wearable computing and the clothes. To make the wearable computing more convenient and fashioable, there is a long way to work through.

Affective Computing

Affective Computing is a development of system that can recognize interpret, process, simulate human affects. In this screenshot, the emotions are determined through using computer. The computer system recognizes changes of affect. This helps the understanding of deeper insight in psychological field.

In this screenshot, different emotions are differentiated by different images in system.This tells that emotions have their unique signature of changes in facial muscle, physical arousal, and other cues. Affective computing could improve the deeper comprehension of human.

In this screenshot, it shows affective robot. System can not only interpret human affects but also to simulate facial expression. One day, when you laugh, computer will laugh with you. The robots could have emotions to share feelings with human in near future. Above picture shows different facial expressions of robot.

In this video, it talked about the future of affective computing. They can tell what your feelings are so to enhance people's well being. This will help make people less depressed. Technology could improve psychological well being.

Telepresence

In this post, I will talk about Telepresence.

Telepresence is a technology that allows a person to feel as if they were present. Telepresence have an effect to feel like they are at a same place although they are not. In this screenshot, the meeting is held using technology of telepresence. The environment is highly controlled at both ends.

Telepresence robot give a person a physical present at work or school when she can not be in there in -person. Telepresence robot is a device that is controlled remotely by a human operator. It has the ability to move around and facilitate meetings. In near future, telepresence robot will have arms to open door, examine an object, and to have more control over environments.

Telepresence can be used in many parts of our lives. In this screenshot, it shows the telepresence doctor's assistant. This include features of remote diagnosis and patient care. Doctor can talk to the partient remotely. Technology improvement will bring significant changes in hospital industry.

In this video, the new telepresence was introduced in 2013. He gives brief explanation of features of telepresence. The datas can be shared at he same time. Collaboration of telepresence brings a greater improvement and convenience in our lives.

3D printing

3D printing is one of the greatest invention that will affect our lives incredibly. This screenshot shows the process of 3D printing. I don't know the technology part of 3D printing but the 3D printing works as the same way as click "print" on a scrrenshot of computer. And the product will come out, not in a piece of paper, but as a product. So How do this machine work? the program breaks the 3D image into thousands of horizontal layers, and each layer will be printed one at a time.

People anticipate great benefits from 3D printing. One is the 3D print organs for transplant. In this screenshot, it shows the research toward printing a working human heart. This is going to help repair or replace damaged human organs and tissues, improve surgeries, and help people in dealing with a wide range of injuries and illness. Technology in medical field will grow incredibly.

However, there is a downside to this 3D printing, The 3D print guns and weapons are mentioned as anticipated problems. If the 3D printing is publicized, people can easily obtain weapons for use and that will danger lives of people. There is an ethical issues and danges in use of 3D printing.
