On the road to mastering facebook

1. Group

Facebook groups help to connect with specific set of people. By setting privacy, the group page can be open to public or seen only by group members. People can share pictures, write posts to share with group members.

2. Events

You can create events and invite specific people to come on facebook.  People can click on accept/ decline button to tell who's coming and who's not. You can easily see who is coming to this event and what will happen in this future. People who are invited could see the posts and pictures relevant to this event.

3. View Activity Log

On the right corner of the cover photo, there is a view activity log button. When you click on it, you can view the activity you did in the past.

4. Like and Comment

You can like your facebook friends' photo or posts and put comments on. Also, you can share the post. You can tag yourself on the photo, download the photo, or report photo if it is inappropriate.

5. Privacy setting

You can put your information. You can put your birthdate, schools, relationship, what you like,  contact info, religious views etc. People can know you better. You can change privacy setting to limit who can see your information.

This is an assignment from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Collaborative Computing. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc
